this is one of the canals that we cross to get from the bed and breakfast we are staying in to  my cousin’s home. I absolutely love this.

Canals in Amsterdam are full of activity.  This one was vacant when I took the picture, and I love the calmness of it.  While everything else was busy with people, this was at peace for the time.

Royal Palace - Koninklijk Paleis

I feel like this would be a perfect picture for a brochure or something to promote the museum. Not to toot my own horn, per say, but I love how this captures the first thing you see, and the people that are seeing it. It has a warm feeling to it that I can’t explain.

This is taken in the room where the former queen of Holland renounced her throne.  The video played as we walked through, like we were there to see it happen.  This room was stunning, and the mix of the fixture and the paintings were spectacular.
